The Role: The Student Recruitment Advisor is responsible for promoting and selling the programs of the Universities/ Awarding bodies to our progressing students, responding to potential progressing students on various courses, and identifying the appropriate courses to meet their goals.

Main Responsibilities

What the role involves:

  • Making outbound calls to convert existing student into applications for further level of qualification.
  • Taking Outreach / Events and all-inclusive community events as our main objective to promote GBS and its courses to increase numbers for each intake.
  • Reaching out to existing students who have an interest in progressing for our courses, with the aim of supporting them through the application process, through to enrolment.
  • Ensure customer data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion into all appropriate systems.
  • Travel to other GBS campuses will be required from time to time, in accordance with business need.

 

Requirements

About You:

  • Able to communicate effectively, with empathy, by phone, face to face and in writing. 
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment. 
  • Commitment to providing a first-class service to students.
  • Experience of working positively and effectively with others. 
  • Able to receive and process information quickly and accurately under time pressure. 
  • Well-developed skills in organising self (tasks, priorities, and time) 
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and decision-making skills.
