What We Do: The Business Development Department supports the business by identifying and creating new revenue opportunities, partnerships, and markets.

The role: GBS is seeking a motivated and innovative self-starter to add value to the organisation and generate revenue. Whether it be strategically identifying business leads, enhancing service quality, or identifying opportunities for performance improvements - this role guarantees variety.

Main Responsibilities

What the role involves:

  • Identifying and creating partnerships with new potential student recruitment agencies and other educational or training providers.
  • Actively involved in assisting the team for achieving the student recruitment target for each intake.
  • Attending business meetings and providing training to new recruiting partners regularly.
  • Assisting the team for achieving the student recruitment target for each intake.
  • Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Meeting with potential partners to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.

Requirements

What Experience/Skills are required:

  • Prior experience engaging and working with student recruitment agents is essential.
  • Proven experience working as a Business Development Manager or related role that drives student recruitment within the higher education sector is essential.
  • The ability to travel as needed.
  • Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
