The Role: The Income & Reconciliation Assistant reports to the Income & Reconciliation Manager and is responsible for reconciling payments from partner universities and updating student funding changes. Providing support to colleagues and partners to ensure records are maintained to an accurate level in a timely manner and assisting with the regulatory returns to external bodies and partners. Assisting with fee income and fee generation and monitoring the accuracy of student records for financial areas, you will liaise with all areas in GBS regarding student changes and ensure these are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard of accuracy.

Main Responsibilities
What the role involves:
• To manage and audit student records and administer and update timely and accurately the day-to-day processing of all incoming student records and changes
• To confirm student registration, attendance and all updates to partners regarding a student’s change of circumstances in a timely manner within regulatory requirements
• To check accuracy and detail of GBS related course file information
• To assist with partner fee collections and data reviews
• To assist with the preparation and analysis of management information relating to partner tuition fee collection and partner comparisons
• To assist the Fees & Income Manager with daily allocation of tickets for the wider team and prepare analysis in support of SLA compliance
Requirements
About You:
• Able to undertake complex reconciliations with large volumes of data identifying errors and resolving queries
• Communicate effectively at all levels, working collaboratively to achieve joint goals and objectives
• Work independently with attention to detail and able to prioritise and organise workload
